The World Language Speech Festival is sponsored by the World Language Learning Center. It is a mandatory project of all World Language students at Moanalua High School.

 

A schedule and room assignments will be posted soon.

 

Please use the following information and presentations to help you prepare for your speech presentation.

 

World Language Learning Center's Annual Speech Festival

Uploading your essay as a JunoDoc

1.  Open JupiterGrades and select Japanese 2 from your list of classes in the Overview tab.
2.  Open the assignment list
3.  Select the assignment you are submitting.
4.  Select the File Locker tab in the menu on the left side.
5.  Click on the Upload/New tab at the top.
7.  Select New Juno Doc from the list.
8.  A new page will open.
  • Give it an appropriate title
  • Be sure to type only one sentence per line. (this will allow me to use at least some of the editing functions)
9.  Enter your content-if you are transfering from a previous draft, just copy and paste your final draft here.
10.  You can save it as a draft or submit it for teacher review.
**drafts under the same assignment are listed below each and may not necessarily be submitted for review. Be sure to check to see if your submitted assignment appears under the assignment list.

Recording your speech:

1.  Be sure you are looking and the correct slide before you start recording!
2.  Check the audio volume. Be sure we can hear it!
3.  When using the video recording function, be sure we can see you clearly.
4.  You must review your recording. You are doing it to help yourself.
5.  Keep track of the length of your speech. Your target is 2 minutes!
6.  Work on your body language, hand position, eye contact and posture!
