Kamishibai Project

Task:

Create an original story using recently learned patterns that will fit the context of someone getting injured or sick. Try to extend your grammar usage by looking further into Topic 12.

Parameters:

-Story must be entirely in Japanese. Use newly learned vocabulary and grammar from 12-1 and 12-2. Try to go beyond and use vocabulary from 12-3, 12-4, and 12-5.

-Story needs to be done in the Kamishibai format:

-Similary to a picture book, a Kamishibai also needs a title page. On the title page, put your title, your name and period and accompany it with a picture that will match your story.

Picture in the front, words on the back. The pictures may be handwritten, or done with computer generated graphics. Also, be sure that the picture is appropriate and matches what the story is saying. Make sure that the writing in the back doesn't bleed through to the other side of the paper. The written portion may be by hand (neatly) or typed and pasted onto the back.

Example:

Picture on card 1=Words for card 2

Picture on card 2=Words for card 3

Picture on card 3=Words for card 4

Picture on card 4=Words for card 1

In the picture above, there is a picture on the front but the story that matches the picture is on  slide in the back

-Characters must be original

-Story needs a setting, plot, and conclusion.

When creating a story, start with developing a character. What will your character be doing in your story? Where and when will your story take place? (setting) What problem (plot) will be occuring in your story and how will this problem be resolved? (conclusion)
