"My Hometown" glog

Enter the "My Hometown" Glogster contest by creating your own glog about your hometown. 私のふるさと should be your perspective on your hometown. There are many examples you can view on the Glogster website to get ideas, but your Glog should reflect your style, your perspective, your opinions about what makes your hometown the place that it is.

Use links to other sources that show what your hometown is like, but be sure to include a bibliography of all your sources in the appropriate format.

Add photos and other visuals to make your page come alive. Show us how you see your hometown. Add the sources of your content in your bibliography. Be sure to caption everything in Japanese so we can understand the significance of your visuals. Remember, this will be for the world to see, so be careful of what content you share. (2.3.1, 2.3.2, 2.4.1, 2.4.2)

Include audio and video of you explaining, in Japanese, what is significant about your hometown. Tell us a story, make us laugh, share a memory. You can even make an avatar with your voice recorded to present information. (2.3.1, 2.4.1, 2.4.2)

Include a written narrative in Japanese to share information, a story, an anecdote, a poem, or just stuff you want write about that will give viewers a better understanding of how you feel about your hometown, what is famous, what is unknown. (2.3.2, 2.4.1, 2.4.2)

Be sure to include a comprehensive bibliography of your sources of information and visuals. This will be a public presentation, with eyes beyond the school looking at the content. Get permission to use photos, video, audio, etc. taken of other people. Be sure anything you use that is taken from the internet or other sources is open-source, free to use and not copyright protected.

This is your chance to show off what you, yourself, can do in Japanese. Do not rely on others. Just do your best. It will be a reflection of your language ability as of right now.
